Narora plant visit was a new learning experience for me. As a budding journalist I always wanted to witness a Nuclear Atomic Power Plant. And the moment I got the opportunity I quickly grabbed it. Before going there I had many apprehensions about radiations emitted from the nuclear plant but after witnessing everything from my own eyes I got to know the real truth behind that. There are many myths prevalent in our society about the plant and their radiations like nuclear energy is unsafe but the truth is that Nuclear energy is as safe or safer than any other form of energy available. The main objective of this visit was to enlighten the students like me who are soon going to enter into the world of news where we people will be clearing the existing myths for the societal good. This trip helped me to get a better perspective about nuclear atomic plant.
