The visit to Narora Nuclear Power Plant was a learning experience. This trip was basically organized to clear the myth and apprehensions that Nuclear Power Plants are dangerous for the society as well as for flora and fauna. I do agree that it is beneficial in terms of economically viability and safe and clean source of electricity generation and once I investigated with team of engineers, I finally  realized that it was not affecting the environment in any way. The Environmental Survey Lab is an independent body and their results somehow proved that the radiation emitted by the Nuclear Power Plant is negligible. In comparison with Thermal Power Plants, it is more clean and green. Management of waste and spent fuel disposing the Uranium as told is not so difficult as it can be used as future fuel in second stage rectors.
