“All of us were very fortunate that we got an opportunity to have a look at the entire process of electricity generation via nuclear energy right from the start to the end.
We were introduced to the site officials and given a detailed presentation including a short film  also regarding the history of reactor, rich heritage around the vicinity of the plants and the myths related to the nuclear radiation. We also visited the Environment Survey Laboratory (ESL) to see the procedures, survey and the statistical data that they carried out periodically to access the release of radiation to the environment from the plant. They also provided us with reference books and comics on Budhiya  that cleared all our myths about the plant.
The knowledge gained will be cherished for a long time by us as it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to closely observe the operations of an Atomic Power Plant.”
